A Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) network is now available for the Early Years PVCI sector

The PVCI DSL Network is free to attend and overseen by the Nottingham City Safeguarding Children Board.

The aims of the network are to;

  • Develop and enhance safeguarding practises and processes across the Early Years sector
  • Improve communication between the Early Years  sector and the Safeguarding Children Board
  • Provide support to DSL’S in their role as a DSL  

The Spring 2018 Network agenda will include:

  • National and local updates
  • Safeguarding issues in communities – presentation and table activity  
  • Guest Speaker TBC

NCSCB Signs of Safety Training Sessions Available: 

These free workshops provide a brief introduction to the Signs of Safety approach to assessment and planning for a multi-agency audience who do not have access to more extensive training:  Tuesday 13th February or Monday 19th March 2018 to apply for a place go to:
